MEGASTAR Beyonce has given birth to a baby girl named Ivy Blue Carter, according to US reports.

The 30-year-old singer and her hubby Jay-Z, 42, welcomed their daughter in a private wing of Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, it has been claimed.Rihanna, who is close pals with rapper Jay - real name Shawn Carter, tweeted: "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih."Music mogul Russell Simmons wrote: "Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z."A heavily pregnant Beyonce checked into the upper East Side hospital on Friday night using the alias "Ingrid Jackson", it is reported.It's said the power couple rented out the entire fourth floor for £850,000. 
Beyonce announced she was expecting her first child with Jay-Z at the MTV Video Music Awards in August. After performing her song Love On Top, she told the audience: "I want you to feel the love that's growing inside of me." In October 2011, she faced claims she was faking her pregnancy. Rumours spread that she was wearing a prosthesis after her bump appeared to fold in on itself as she sat down on an Australian TV chat show.
