Another shocker from INEC tomorrow - Source: Nigeria Vanguard

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, yesterday went into a stormy session at its headquarters, featuring its Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, Federal Commissioners and Resident Electoral Commissioners, and may come out with another shocker tomorrow.
Yesterday’s meeting which lasted about eight hours saw the Commission’s leadership reviewing last Saturday’s botched elections and concluded that some drastic measures would need to be taken to avoid what an INEC top shot described as the “mess of last Saturday”.

And although  Chief Press Secretary to Professor Jega, Kayode Idowu, along with INEC’s Director of Public Affairs, Emmanuel Umenger, briefed the press yesterday evening after the meeting, Vanguard was made to understand that some far reaching decisions were in the process of being taken.
One of the decisions, Vanguard learnt, is that INEC may be forced to postpone elections in some states of the federation again on certain conditions.
Information available suggests that INEC may not hold back in postponing elections in some states on Saturday if conditions do not meet what a source called “irreducible minimum standards that we are expecting on Saturday.
“By tomorrow, Thursday, INEC would have been able to determine whether or not some of the lapses that were noticed on Saturday and which made many Nigerians complain about the Commission’s preparations, have been taken care of.
